Overview
This module provides an initial flavor of the MoT side of the Executive MBA. It is highlighted by the
presentation by each MoT participant of his/her enterprise project and includes an introduction to the
start-up environment and to business communications.
Goals
Specifically the participant will:
• Get to know each other
• Understand the framework of the MoT program and of the Business Plan competition
• Be in touch with the start-up environment through a visit to the EPFL Scientific Park (PSE)
• Acquire a basic knowledge of Business communications
• Present his/her own original Business Idea
Evaluation
Individual contributions in class and presentation of business idea.

a. a 2 page description of your truly innovative Business Idea

b. a maximum 4 slide presentation

Competition, and 4 on Price + Revenue Generation)
Have it ready on a memory stick already for Tuesday 11.09
Be ready to present it in front of the class in less than 3 minutes on 12.09.
